Middle Level Teaching Methods

This course provides instruction and guidance in the design, implementation, and assessment of teaching strategies adapted to young adolescents.
Objectives:
The students will:
1. Describe who middle level learners are developmentally.
2. Analyze various strategies and ideas concerning middle level teaching and learning and articualte a personal philosophy.
3. Determine best instructional methods for middle level learners.
4. Design an integrated instructional unit of study based on best practice for middle level learners.
