This workshop is designed to provide participants with an experience in which they will learn how to utilize online resources to develop an effective virtual classroom. By the end of this workshop participants will have a “ready to use” virtual classroom that they have assembled by reviewing, analyzing, and developing not only the setting but also the instructional style and resources.
- Compare and contrast varying learning management systems.
- Analyze and determine the most effective pedagogy for virtual instruction.
- Develop lessons in line with standards and benchmarks related to your field.
- Identify copyright and accessibility issues surrounding online learning.
About The Instructor
David Beyers earned his M.S. in Education from Walden University, specializing in integrating technology into the classroom. His B.S. in Education was earned from Central Michigan University. David has over 13 years of experience in teaching global issues and physical education.
