Class Offered Through Seela Science
Introduce beginners to the properties of earth materials: resources, types of soil, and fossils, and natural vs man-made. Discover objects in the sky: stars, the planets, our solar system, solar energy and eclipses. Observe changes in the sky: what causes day and night, months and moons, years and seasons. Explore changes in the earth's surface by making a foaming volcano and study different types of weather. Each activity has a corresponding reading lesson utilizing three levels of reading ability. Great way to get students excited about science!!!
Seela Science specializes in taking an individual state’s Science Standards and customizing a K-8th curriculum to match completely what each teacher is mandated to teach in that state. We can do this because we have written over 800 activities, covering all the science concepts and teaching levels. These are kept individually in our curriculum library. This gives us the freedom to customize to the needs of an individual state.
