At last, a reading course for primary teachers that incorporates the most recent research and relevant strategies. Explore the five core instructional areas and how each affects student achievement: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Whether your students have special needs or show no apparent learning difficulties, this course will expand your repertoire of teaching strategies and help you put students on the road to literacy. Recommended for Grades K-3.
1. Participants will explore the five core instructional areas of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension
