This course is designed to help you extend the application of what you learned in a previously taken QEP course while gaining experience in the creation of a professional portfolio. The portfolio development guidelines are aligned with the standards set by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. (Prerequisite: you must have previously taken or be currently enrolled in another QEP course.)

In this course, you will learn how to:

About The Instructor
Dr. Robert Nielsen is certified nationally and licensed in North Dakota as a professional counselor and clinical counselor. He earned an Ed.D. in Psychology, Counseling, and Guidance from the University of North Colorado. Dr. Robert Nielsen has been a counselor and counselor educator at NDSU for the past 42 years where his research and presentation focus has been stress management. He has taught courses on stress management to undergraduate students, master's level students, and doctoral level students. He has presented hundreds of times on the topic throughout the United States and most recently was invited as a guest presenter in Hawaii.
