Course Description:

This course will give you the theory and skills to create lesson plans that meet the basic psychological needs of students and gain their cooperation in the learning process. Based on the works of Drs. William Glasser, David Johnson and Roger Johnson, you will gain the knowledge and skills to guide your students to become active, enthusiastic partners in the learning process.

About The Instructor

Larry Napoleon
Larry Napoleon

Dr. Larry Napoleon earned his Ph.D. in Education from Pennsylvania State University, specializing in Curriculum & Instruction. His M.A. in Education was awarded from Xavier University. Dr. Larry Napoleon is currently an Assistant Professor at the North Dakota State University School of Education where he teaches undergraduate and graduate level education courses, develops professional development coursework for K-12 teachers, supervises student teachers, and engages in scholarly research, writing, and conference presentations. Larry was a special education teacher for 5 years. He was previously a graduate assistant and instructor for the Pennsylvania State University Department of Curriculum & Instruction.
