Course Description:

This course will introduce teachers to the pragmatics of designing and implementing cross-curricular lessons while integrating the Arts, History, Science and/or Culture.  Strategies for using online digital media and instructional public television will be embedded into the multi-disciplinary lessons by Master Teachers. 


Educators will learn:

  1. Lesson planning guidelines;
  2. Sample lesson plans;
  3. Strategies for cross platform/cross curricular media integration, and
  4. Knowledge of video/media resources that are available for the classroom.

About The Instructor

Lynette Burgan

Lynette received her M.A. in Theatre Arts & her B.F.A. in Theatre Performance from University of North Dakota. She received several awards and was nominated for the Irene Ryan Award. Lynette has 17+ years teaching/directing experience.
