This course provides information on how one teacher stimulated his class to high performance regardless of family or society environment. Ideas and strategies on how to help students excel are written about throughout the text. A very inspirational text and course outline that will stimulate teaching styles.
As a result of participation in this course, students should:
- Be able to incorporate information from the text, Internet reading and video clips into ideas, strategies and techniques that can help motivate student learning, and explain and demonstrate, in writing reflections and or exit reports.
- Be able to internalize the author’s point of view regarding the importance of student and teacher relationships, and demonstrate this in the writings of reflections and or exit report.
