Course Description:
This workshop is designed to show administrators how to take advantage of online tools and social media for productivity and communication. Participants will look at tools for managing and sharing documents in the cloud. They will also learn about using social media and blogs for communicating to a variety of audiences for different purposes. The focus will be on a specific set of tools to provide a working model. However, alternatives for each tool in the model will also be explored.
Objectives:
- Use a cloud based application to store and share files.
- Use a social media tool to share and exchange ideas with others using the same tools.
- Use a video sharing site to share video content.
- Use video conferencing tools for communication and productivity.
