Course Description:

Goal Setting Made Simple is a course designed to help the educator understand and more effectively design their particular goals.  The topics discussed will touch on many aspects that are involved with the goal setting processes and procedures.  Whether you are an administrator or classroom teacher, there are key pieces of information we will provide to help you experience greater success while working with students.  This information is both applicable to the classroom and the school/district as a whole.  Any successful organization or entity has a structured process in place in order to measure/experience success.

Objectives:

1. Implements best practice and strategies into the educational system

2. Follow recommended guidelines for improving student success.

3. Utilize a greater understanding of the effects of a well-organized improvement process.

4. Design a plan that will benefit the student and the educators.

About The Instructor

Charles North

Charles North earned an M.A. in Secondary School Administration from Central Michigan University, where he also earned a B.S. in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics and minor in Earth Science. Charles has experience teaching high school and in educational leadership positions to include the titles of principal, federal funding director, and district curriculum coordinator. Charles has published articles in the School Recognition Journal from the Department of Education and in publications from Central Michigan University.
