Description:

You've heard people say, "it takes a village to raise a child".  Become part of that village of people by choosing to earn a degree in child and adolescent development. Child development is the biological, physical, and emotional changes that individuals experience from birth through the adolescent years. Gain knowledge of family and human development over the life span. In the online B.S. in Human Development and Family Science: Child & Adolescent Development degree program students gain an understanding of the development of children and adults and their interaction in the family and society.

Join representatives from NDSU's Human Development & Family Science and Distance & Continuing Education departments for a live, online presentation about the online B.S. in HDFS: Child and Adolescent Development option.  Get your questions answered by Jim Deal, Ph.D., professor and department head.  Find out key information you need to know to be successfully admitted into the program.  This live information session offers the following:

  • gives you a sneak peek of the program,
  • helps you gather information about topics covered in the courses,
  • discusses expectations of students,
  • offers background information on the field of child development,
  • covers admission requirements, and
  • gives you the opportunity to ask your specific questions.

All individuals interested in the online B.S. in HDFS: Child and Adolescent Development option are welcome to attend this FREE, live, online informational session but preregistration is required.
