NDSU DCE ESTABLISHES INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN TEAM

Lisa Nordick, Director of NDSU Distance and Continuing Education (DCE) announced today its newly established Instructional Design Team whose goal is to support faculty interested in teaching within the distance education environment.
The Instructional Design Team will assist faculty in the following areas:
· Curriculum planning and development assistance.
· Creation of customized instructional materials and digital media such as podcasts, Flash animation and web development.
· Implementation of latest technologies and methodologies.
· Ongoing assistance and evaluation of course goals.
The DCE design team consists of the following staff members: Jerry Olson, Assistant Director of Information Systems; Lyn Willoughby, Instructional Designer; Elango Murugaiyan, Computer Programmer; and Mark Taggart, Multimedia Specialist. These team members have extensive knowledge in distance learning technologies and are willing to assist faculty who are interested in instructional innovation.
