NDSU DCE to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day

Administrative Professionals Day will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, from 10:00a.m. - 3:15p.m. Distance and Continuing Education at North Dakota State University invites you to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day at the Best Western Kelly Inn and Suites, 1767 44th St. S. Fargo, ND. This “treat and train” your staff event, invites employers to send professionals to join us for lunch and enjoy some great presentations by local professionals to provide tips and advice to become healthier and more productive at work.

Session topic information includes:

Stay Fit While You Sit
Americans spend millions of hours each year sitting on the job. Come and learn how you can prevent problems like neck and back pain and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome by sitting properly and setting up your workspace properly. Exercises will be demonstrated that anyone can do during their breaks to increase your performance and productivity.

Working Smarter, Not Harder
Clutter, complexity, and commitments can get in our way and hold us back. Professionals will discover practical steps to help focus on what really matters and to get even better results. Learn how to align your actions with your priorities and identify pitfalls to avoid so you can get the most out of your time. Leave refreshed, refocused, and re-energized to tackle the increasing demands on your time.

Five Secrets to Looking and Feeling Younger
This session will talk about the importance of preventative care. It looks at the difference between letting your body just "take its course" and what happens when you are proactive with your health and use preventative care. While it focuses on chiropractic care, it also mentions a variety of other health fields. Dr. Pappe will teach you how to differentiate between good and bad vitamins and who should be taking certain vitamins.

Cost is $30 with lunch included. For more information regarding this conference or to register online go to http://ndsu.me/dceadmpd12.
