Course Description:

Students in grades 3-5 and 6-8 are invited to join NDSU for a variety of summer kids camps focused on topics in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Ignite a passion or fuel your child's passion for STEM classes by registering him/her for these hands-on learning camps. Camps are offered four different weeks throughout June and July.

 

Session 1 - Monday, June 10th – Thursday, June 13th

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.  - Construction Materials (Grades 3-5)

1 - 4 p.m. - Computing and Games (Grades 6-8) held in IACC Rm 244

1 - 4 p.m. - Prehistoric Creatures, Glowing Minerals, and Rocks that Tell Stories (Grades 6-8) held in Stevens Hall 136

 

Session 2 - Monday, June 17th – Thursday, June 20th

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Construction Materials (Grades 3-5) held in ECE 213 This class is full.

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Robot Rumble (Grades 3-5) This class is full.

9 a.m - 12 p.m. -The Great Health Care Adventure (Grades 3-5) held in Sudro 110

1 - 4 p.m. - Prehistoric Creatures, Glowing Minerals, and Rocks that Tell Stories (Grades 6-8) held in Stevens Hall 136

 

Session 3 - Monday, July 15th – Thursday, July 18th

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Construction Materials (Grades 3-5) held in ECE 213

9 a.m - 12 p.m - Astronomy, Stars, Planets, and Extrasolar Planets (Grades 3-5)

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Gear Heads (Grades 3-5)

1 - 4 p.m. - Engineering Adventures (Grades 6-8)

1 - 4 p.m. - STEM Explorers (Grades 6-8) held in Family Life Center (FLC) Room 415A

1 - 4 p.m. - Astronomy, Stars, Planets, and Extrasolar Planets (Grades 6-8)

 

Session 4 - Monday, July 22nd – Thursday, July 25th

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Construction Materials (Grades 3-5) held in ECE 213

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Robot Rumble (Grades 3-5)

1 - 4 p.m. - Crime Scene Science (Grades 3-5)

1 - 4 p.m. - STEM Explorers (Grades 6-8) held in Family Life Center (FLC) Room 415A

Cost:

$89 for the first camp class
$79 for each additional camp class or for additional children from the same family
