The new meal plans are the Basic and Elite meal plans. With either of the plans, you now have continuous, unlimited access to the dining centers. What does that mean? It means that you are not limited to a certain amount of meals each week and that one dining center will always be open during the day. You can feel free to come into the dining centers as many times as you like, every day! Check the link to the dining center you would like to visit for hours. The difference in the meal plans is listed below.
For Off-Campus and Residence Life students not required to be on the Basic or Elite meal plan, our cash meal prices are; Breakfast: $6.45, Lunch: $8.75, Dinner: $8.75. The Block Plan is another option and can be purchased at any of the Dining Service locations. The Block Plan is good through June 30th and can be used at any time. The price and options for the Block Plan are shown below.
Off campus students who wish to purchase a Basic or Elite meal plan can do so at the Dining Services office, located in Bison Court West.
Basic Meal Plan
Price: $1675/ Semester - This meal plan includes 3 Guest Meals.
Elite Meal Plan
Price: $1850/Semester - This meal plan includes 7 Guest Meals and $200 value in Dining Dollars.

Block of 25 meals: $206.00
Block of 50 meals: $400.00
Block of 75 meals: $585.00
Block of 100 meals: $760.00
Meal Plan Cancellations
To cancel a meal plan without penalty, requests must be received in writing on or before July 1 of each year for Fall Semester and December 1 of each year for the Spring Semester. You may cancel your meal plan after these dates, and before the first day of classes, however there will be a $50 late cancellation fee. After classes have begun cancellations are no longer accepted. Mark your calendars now. No exceptions will be considered past this deadline. Request forms are available from hall staff.
Only non-first year students who are residents of Burgum, Churchill, Dinan, Stockbridge, Niskanen and the Living Learning Centers may cancel their meal plan contracts completely. Cancellation of your room contract automatically cancels your meal contract. You may continue your meal plan by completing a separate contract with Dining Services in Bison Court West.
