Meal Plan Rates for the 2014-2015 Academic Year:
RESIDENCE HALL STUDENTS:
The options for Residence Hall students are the 5-Day (Mon-Fri) and 7-Day (Mon-Sun) meal plans. With either of the plans, you have continuous, unlimited access to the dining centers. What does that mean? It means that you are not limited to a certain amount of meals each week and that one dining center will always be open during the day. You can feel free to come into the dining centers as many times as you like, every day! Check the link to the dining center you would like to visit for hours and menu information. Plan descriptions and prices are provided below.
Students living in campus apartments or off campus who wish to purchase a 5-Day/7-Day Meal Plan can do so at any Dining Services office.
EACH SEMESTER a new Off Campus Meal Plan Contract must be completed for the 5-Day/7-Day Meal Plan.
Release from either plan will be permitted only when OFFICIALLY WITHDRAWING from the University.
5-Day Meal Plan:
Price: $1770/ Semester - This meal plan includes 3 Guest Meals. Guest Meals do not carry over from semester to semester.
7-Day Meal Plan:
Price: $1955/Semester - This meal plan includes 7 Guest Meals. Guest Meals do not carry over from semester to semester.
OFF CAMPUS STUDENTS:
There are multiple meal plan options available to off campus students. Plan descriptions and prices are provided below.
NOTE: Residence Life students not required to be on the 5-Day or 7-Day meal plan may also purchase the Block and/or Commuter Plans.
Block Plans can be purchased at any Dining Services office. The Block Plan is valid for the Academic Year when purchased and can be used at any time. Release from the Block Plan will be permitted only when OFFICIALLY WITHDRAWING from the University. The price and options are shown below.

Block of 25 meals: $240.00
Block of 50 meals: $466.00
Block of 75 meals: $682.00
Block of 100 meals: $885.00
Commuter Lunch Plan:
This is a semester based plan. The Commuter Lunch Plan can be purchased at any Dining Services office. EACH SEMESTER a new Commuter Lunch Plan Contract must be completed. Release from the Commuter Lunch Plan will be permitted only when OFFICIALLY WITHDRAWING from the University.
Commuter Lunch Plan serving times are:
RDC: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm (Monday-Friday)
UDC: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm (Monday-Friday)
WDC: 11:30 am - 3:30 pm (Monday-Friday)
Price: $435.00/Semester - This plan includes 3 Lunches per week (Monday-Friday) and 1 Guest Meal per semester. The Lunches do not carry over from week to week. The Guest Meal does not carry over from semester to semester.
Block and Commuter Lunch Plans are ONLY for Off Campus and Residence Life students not required to be on the 5-Day or 7-Day meal plan.
Cash Meal Prices:
Adult (Age 11 & Up): Breakfast: $7.30, Lunch: $9.95, Dinner: $10.50
Child (Age 4-10yrs): Breakfast: $4.00, Lunch: $4.00, Dinner: $4.00
Child(Age 3 & Under): No Charge
Meal Plan Cancellations For Residence Life Students
Meal plan cancellation requests (only available in Niskanen and the Living Learning Centers) must be received in writing at the Department of Residence Life on or before June 1 for fall semester and December 1 for spring semester. Late cancellations will only be accepted through the first Friday after classes start and a $50 processing fee will be assessed. Mark your calendars now. No exceptions will be considered past this deadline. Request forms are available from Residence Life.
Only non-first year students who are residents of Niskanen and the Living Learning Centers may cancel their meal plan contracts completely. Cancellation of your room contract automatically cancels your meal contract. You may continue your meal plan by completing a separate contract with Dining Services in Bison Court West.
