NABRE - Network of Alliances Bridging Race & Ethnicity (pronounced "neighbor") is an initiative of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, is a network that links national and community-based organizations working across the country to bridge racial and ethnic divisions. Utilizing communications opportunities created by the information technology revolution, as well as traditional means of communication and interaction, NABRE enables these organizations to share ideas and experiences and to build mutual support.

Change Agent States for Diversity
The Change Agent States for Diversity (CASD) project, initiated by Cooperative Extension, is a catalytic step in beginning the transformation of the Land Grant system. It is a consortium of eight states dedicated to supporting greater cultural diversity in the Land Grant system, by bringing the needed technical skills and training to each of the member states. Through this collaborative approach, the consortium will develop successful models and strategies that can be applied throughout the system.

The Fair Housing of the Dakotas is a non-profit organization serving North and South Dakota. The Fair Housing of the Dakotas (FHD) works to eliminate housing discrimination and to ensure equal housing opportunities for all. It is illegal under federal law to be discriminated against in the rental, sale or financing of housing due to your race, color, gender, religion, disability, national origin or familial status. North Dakota state law also prohibits discrimination due to age (40 and over) and status with respect to marriage and public assistance. The FHD provides assistance to individuals pursuing rights and remedies related to fair housing, offers housing assistance and counseling, provides community education, promotes community involvement and performs research in the area of housing. A number of publications are also available free of chare by completing an order form or by visiting the FHD web site.
The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education is published 26 times a year. It is the sole Hispanic journal on today's college campus that reaches a broach cultural audience of educators, administrators, students, student service and community-based organizations, plus corporations. Each edition brings forth the significant of communication in academic circles, the importance of positive learning experioences, the contributions of both Hispanic and non-Hispanic role models, and constructive observations on policies and proceduires in academia. Working with an influential editorial board made up of accomplished academic professionals, HO presents progressive feature articles which provide constructive discussion of issues confronted by Hispanics on the college campus.
It is well known that people don't always "speak their minds," and it is suspected that people don't always "know their minds." Understanding such divergences is important to scientific psychology. This web site presents a new method that demonstrates public-private and conscious-unconscious divergences much more convincingly than has been posssible with previous methods. It also displays the method in a do-it-yourself demonstration form. This new method is called the Implicit Association Test, or IAT for short.

The North Dakota Human Rights Coalition works to effect change so that all people in North Dakota enjoy full human rights.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is a non-profit organization that combats hate, intolerance and discrimination through education and litigation. Its programs include the Intelligence Project, Teaching Tolerance, and tolerance.org. The Center also sponsors the Civil Rights Memorial, which celebrates the memory of those who died during the Civil Rights Movement.
