• Reminder TOCAR training: Level I, Wed. March 8, at NDSU
• Level II (joint with Concordia and MSU-M), April 20-22

• Women’s Week information handed out
• Follow-up on accreditation visit
• Judith Lorber – author of Breaking the Bowls: Degendering and Feminist Change and professor emeriti of sociology and women’s studies at The Graduate Center and Brooklyn College – speaker sponsored by FORWARD and Wismet.
o Request for unfunded sponsorship

o Mar. 22, 12:00 – Speaker coming to Century Theater, Ann Burnett will make sure information is posted on the Diversity Council web site
Update – funding guidelines for Diversity Council financial support of events and programs: (Malika, Wendy, Kara, Kristina)
• Process for reviewing proposals:
o Review teams of 3 people review proposals, after reviewing three proposals and making recommendations for approval, the committee would rotate to three new members
o Discussed dispersing funds equally over fall and spring semester
o Administrative overseer to be sure funding dollars are available

• Discussed follow-up to reported incidents requesting/requiring follow-up
• Publicity suggestions: It’s Happening, Spectrum, listservs, web links to report, unveiling ceremony, information table in the union, others.
• Launch date: expected just after spring break
Meeting dates for spring semester – will last Friday at noon work? IF SO, meetings for spring semester will be: 11:30am-1:00pm
