Diversity Council Strategic Plan
- Subgroup to do summer planning for 07-08 Diversity Council
- Craig will chair - Chuck, Bunnie, Kara, Kristina
- Follow-up on initiatives related to increasing women faculty/administrators - any related action steps in the plan
- Ann volunteered for this committee
- Craig asked for volunteers to advise on PT&E family leave policy
- Council members offered suggestions and issues to consider when reviewing policy
Diversity Strategic Plan - plan review teams update
- Sandy distributed a list of people suggested for plan review teams
- Training - DC member volunteers to plan and execute during the summer
- Kristina will assist the volunteers
- Start with the co-chairs for each committee
- Sandy will schedule a meeting with review team co-chairs
- Bring preliminary reeport to early fall DC meeting
Diversity Impact Award - awarded to Sandy Holbrook
- Financial award designation - Lori Loveland Endowment
- $500 donation made in Sandy's name
- Plan for recognition plaque
- Large plaque with nameplates for winners
Time/days for Fall Semester 2007 meetings - first meeting to include orientation for new members - Friday, August 31, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.
Potential agenda items for first fall meeting
- Orientation for new members, including review of accomplishments to date
- Progress report from the Plan Review Teams
- Bias report compilation for 2006-07 (first year)
- Review of strategic planand report from subcommittee re: DC work for 07--8
