Announcements:
- Welcome to our new Graduate Assistant, Jeanne Corbett!
- Team members introduced themselves.
- Malika Carter announced:
- Multicultural Student Services Activities - please visit their website for details.
- Community of Color Townhall Meeting - also listed on the website.
- Take sexual harassment training if you haven't done so.
- Pow-wow will be March 15, 2008, at Concordia. Anyone interested in helping with planning or during the event, please contact Jaclynn Davis-Wallette.
Updates from the Diversity Review Teams:
- Still waiting on one report.
- Meeting for all plan review teams scheduled for Oct. 11, review team members will get an e-mail soon.
- More detailed update will be available next month.
Update on the Human Rights Coalition Conference Speakers:
- Conference October 16-21 at NDSU. Featured speakers:
- damali ayo
- Jennifer Baumgardner
2008 Campus Climate Update:
- Sue Rankin is not available to consult with the council until late October.
- Ann Burnett gave an update regarding the FORWARD team hiring an outside consultant who will contact former faculty mebmers (will have summary hopefully by end of October) Curt Biller.

- Craig Schnell reminded everyone to include the logo on their pages.
Anti-Racism Team Level I Training Update:
- Trainers will be meeting this week to schedule at least two Level I trainings in the near future. If council members have not attended, please try to get to one of these.
Anti-Racism Team Level II Training Update:
- Level II training will be held Nov. 8, 9 & 10 at MSUM.
- If you are interested, there are three spots at no charge, each other spot will be $100 per person. The NDSU Anti-Racism Team has funds to covere these costs.
LGBT Friendly Campus Index:
- Gene Berry provided handout.
President's State of the University Address:
- October 4, 2007, 11:00 a.m. in Festival Hall.
Next Meeting:
- October 19, 2007, 11:30 a.m., at the Alumni Center.
