North Dakota Network for Women In Higher Education

Network for Women Leaders in Higher Education

Statement of Purpose

North Dakota Network for Women in Higher Education (NDWHE) is the IEG network organization for North Dakota dedicated to developing, advancing and supporting women employed at colleges and universities across the state.  NDWHE is committed to providing its members with the skills needed to reach leadership positions and enhancing the leadership skills of those already there.

Each state network is led by a state coordinator who works with institutional representatives and at least one presidential sponsor to develop programs that identify, develop, encourage, advance, link, and support women in higher education careers within that state.

The North Dakota Network for Women in Higher Education (NDWHE) is a part of the national network (ACE/The Network) coordinated by the Inclusive Excellence Group (in the American Council of Education).  Our Presidential Sponsors are Cynthia Lindquist, President of Candeska Cinka, Spirit Lake and Laurel Vermillion, President of Sitting Bull College.
