Current research interests are in the area of cryptographic algorithms and hardware. This has applications in security for smart-cards, cellular phones and wireless sensors. We have developed a new technique to develop fast finite field multipliers that can be used in the development of fast elliptic curve cryptosystems. The lab is also active in the development of formal verification methods for microprocessors and nano-design paradigms.
