For three years I have been collecting bees on the prairie and identifying them to species. After I finish my Master's degree, I would like to start my PhD (in Entomology), and work on the phylogenetics of some groups of bees and look at their biogeographical ranges.

Hometown: Grew up in Verndale, MN
Info: Always been a science nerd! When I was a kid, I used to make my
Grandpa take me out and name all the plants and animals we saw.
