I am a graduate student working toward an M.A. in Literature. My research interests can generally be described as the intersections of politics and popular culture in 20th century America. Specifically, these interests include censorship, new journalism, stand-up comedy, and the American novel. I earned my B.A. in English and History from NDSU in the spring of 2010 and began teaching first-year composition (English 120) that fall.
