I’m an MA English Literature student from Fargo, North Dakota. I also went to NDSU for my undergraduate degree in English and graduated in the spring of 2013. My senior paper was titled, “The Rise of Zombies in a Post-September 11th Culture” and discusses how there has been a zombie renaissance since 2001. I was able to present my paper at the NDSU Red River Graduate School Conference in 2013 in the undergraduate paper category. As an undergraduate at NDSU, I also was involved with Greek life, Society of Professional Journalists, and English Honor Society. Along with my academic interests, I am currently teaching two sections of English 120.

My academic interests consist of 20th century American fiction, science fiction, modernism, post-modernism, narrative structures, film adaptation, and of course zombies.
