Steven Hammer, Graduate Instructor

Office: Minard 316N

I am a PhD student, focusing on Composition. Specifically, my research interests include sonic composition/rhetoric, experimental sound, and the roles of various technologies in the writing process. I received my MA at NDSU in Communication, where I focused on Women and Gender Studies and religious rhetoric. While in the English Department at NDSU, I have taught College Composition II, Writing in the
Humanities and Social Sciences, and Writing in the Design Professions. In my "free time" I enjoy building and altering experimental instruments, composing and performing music, and running.

Student Focused. Land Grant. Research University.
