Steven Petherbridge, Graduate Instructor
Office: Minard 318E34
My name is Steven Petherbridge and I am a Masters student in the Literature track. I received my BA in English Literature from Valley City State University in 2013.
My interests are Early Modern English literature and Elizabethan Drama, specifically Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Through my research, I hope to develop a further understanding of not only the cultural milieu Shakespeare evolved from, but also the effect that subsequent biographers had on forming the iconic figure that we see as Shakespeare today.
I teach two units of Composition 120 and enjoy both the challenges and rewards of teaching, as well as the interaction with undergraduate students.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.
