Gretchen Junglas, Adjunct Lecturer

Office: Morrill 203A
Email: gretchen.junglas@ndsu.edu

Education:
I received my MA in English Literature from NDSU in 2012 and I earned my BA in English Literature from Minot State University in 2004 with a concentration in Psychology.

Academic Interests:
My research interests include gender and queer issues. Most specifically, I am drawn to the struggle with these issues in Cold War era America and the pressures of McCarthyism.

Experience:
I have taught College Composition at NDSU as a graduate student and am now teaching as an adjunct lecturer. I enjoy hearing my students’ many experiences and perspectives, but I try to push students to realize that there are other perspectives in the world. In order to communicate effectively, we must create more awareness of other perspectives.
