This was only a temporary committee set up to research and recommend ways to
recruit and retain these groups into SET fields/professions. Although no
longer running, the committee's findings and publications are still available
for viewing/download. Of interest is their report/brochure, the testimonies
and meeting synopses from their Meetings link on best practices (July 20, 1999)
and effective strategies (Oct. 6-7 1999), and their findings/briefings from their
last meeting (July 13 2000).
