Professional organization for animal scientists designed to help members provide effective leadership in their fields. The website provides access and links to publications including the Journal of Animal Science as well as other resources. (The Journal website offers a Job Resource Center where members of related societies can post jobs in the FASS, Federation of Animal Science Societies or see below). There is also a Jobs page on the ASAS Homepage where the FASS has a Talent Database, Student Intern Database, and the Job Resource Center, and within the Student Info page is links to Career Information and online tools
for job searches.

ASSOCIATION OF VETERINARY TECHNICIAN EDUCATORS
Organization that encourages exchange of information within their veterinary
community. Most of the benefits this group has to offer are through
membership. With that is access to the member's directory, newsletters,
listserv, etc.

SOCIETY FOR RANGE MANAGEMENT
This group is dedicated to rangeland study and/or management and facilitating those who pursue this profession. The website offers membership opportunities for individuals, families, institutions, and commercial companies. They have a several pages of resources and journal links and an Employment Opportunities link
through the Products and Services page (however, I believe that posting is
available to members and not the public).
