Also, a link to their journal is provided where ads can be bought. Within the
Education section is a Placement Services link that connects with the FASEB
career site mentioned above.

Professional organization that fosters the development of the biophysical field. There are several online networking options within this group including; links to other similar societies, advertising in one of its publications/newsletters like the Biophysical Journal and they offer an online placement service in their products
and services page.

FEDERATION OF AMERICAN SOCIETIES FOR
EXPERIMENTAL BIOLOGY
FASEB is a coalition of independent Member Societies that serve
the interests of biomedical and life scientists. The website contains many
interesting links to Member Societies, Members Directory, access to the
FASEB journal publication and other resources. Of special interest is the
Career Resources section where there is a classified ads section, searchNet
section providing a database referral system, and other useful tools. There is
also the Minorities Access to Research Careers section with information about
the program (also linked back to the Career Resources).
