DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilities Management is responsible for the overall maintenance, operation and construction of campus facilities and utilities. The University's facilities encompass 258 acres and 113 buildings totaling approximately 4.14 million square feet. Our goal is to support the University's mission by providing well maintained, high quality facilities and services within a safe environment. The department's 169 employees are the key to our department's ability to provide customer focused service in all aspects of facilities management.

 

OUR MISSION

In support of the mission of the university, we must make every effort to meet the challenging goal of Facilities Management: "To help plan, create, maintain and operate an environment conducive to learning and research, all of which is to be accomplished through the most economical means possible."
