Parking Lots - MU and T Lots
Project Complete! August 2012
Facilities Management, in conjunction with NDSU Parking and Transportation have two parking lot projects underway in the summer of 2012. We will be redoing the East half of T Lot, which is one of our largest commuter lots. The lot will be resurfaced with concrete, have new LED lighting and sidewalks on the Barrett Street side of the lot to enhance student safety. The West half of T Lot is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2013. Funding for this project is derived from staff, faculty and student permit sales.
The second parking lot project is the Memorial Union (MU) pay lot. This lot will be expanded from its current 56 parking spot to 94 spots upon completion. The lot will be resurfaced with concrete, include new pay station locations, better traffic flow, new LED lighting and additional sidewalks. This project will be funded by pay parking revenue and citation revenue.
