Biography

 

Ghasideh Pourhashem is a sustainability analyst and life cycle thinker. Currently, she is an assistant professor at NDSU's Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials (CPM) and Center for Sustainable Materials Science (CSMS) and a nonresident scholar at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy. 

Prior to joining CPM and CSMS in 2017, She spent 3 years at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy (Center for Energy Studies) and Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences as a postdoctoral fellow. 

She Obtained her PhD in environmental engineering at Drexel University and her masters and undergraduate degree in chemical and environmental engineering at Sharif University of Technology. 

Dr. Pourhashem currently serves on the editorial advisory board of GCB Bioenergy Journal and the advisory board of the U.S. Biochar Initiative.
