Coordinated by Dr. Jo Ann Miller, Baroque Festival Music Director, over 200 students in five choirs and the Baroque Festival Orchestra will present Handel’s monumental piece, which has become a holiday tradition throughout the world. Premiered in Dublin, Ireland in 1742, Messiah combines Old and New Testament texts in one of the most memorable works of Western music.
