School of Music Inaugural Gala Concert

Featuring NDSU's Concert Choir and Wind Symphony.

The concerts will feature the premiere of Jocelyn Hagen's "Swimming Into Winter," commissioned by he NDSU School of Music.

The Gala Concerts are being held in celebration of the program's recent recognition as a School of Music. Directed by University Distinguished Professor Dr. Jo Ann Miller, the NDSU Concert Choir will perform pieces by Edwin Fissinger, Libby Larson, Alberto Ginastera, and Josef Rheinberger. The NDSU Wind Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Warren Olfert, will perform pieces by John William, Tim Jackson, Piet Swerts, Percy Grainger, and Scott McAllister.
