Trumpet Summit Concert

Officially, T.R.U.M.P.E.T.S. stands for "The Regional Upper Midwest Performance and Educational Trumpet Summit".  Founded in the Spring of 2008 between the University of North Dakota and University Minnesota-Duluth as a collegial event between two studios just wanting to get together for a day of playing trumpet ensembles, T.R.U.M.P.E.T.S. has grown to include more than 7 regional universities in the United States with hopes of extending into Canada.  T.R.U.M.P.E.T.S. intercollegiate trumpet ensembles have performed on two consecutive International Trumpet Guild Conferences. They earned their international performing credit in Sydney, Australia for their performance at the 2010 International Trumpet Guild Conference and the 2011 International Trumpet Guild Conference, which featured guest performing artist James Thompson from the Eastman School of Music in Minneapolis, MN.
