Facilities

The Department of Music is housed in the Music Education Building. Recognized as one of the finest music facilities in the region, it includes rehearsal halls, faculty studios, classrooms, practice rooms, a music listening center, a 200-seat recital hall (Beckwith Recital Hall), and a beautiful 1,000-seat concert hall (Festival Concert Hall). In addition to serving as the primary performance space for the music department, Festival Concert Hall is also the home of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra and the Fargo-Moorhead Opera.
