Johnson Guest Conductor; Law Jazz Poetry

Sigurd Johnson, Associate Professor with NDSU Music, has been invited to be guest conductor during the Minnesota Region 63A High School Honor Band, October 16 at the Minnesota State University Moorhead Hanson Auditorium.  Johnson will work with the bands throughout the day and conduct several pieces during the public performance, which will be held that evening. 

Bill Law, Assistant Director of the NDSU Division of Fine Arts, will present Jazz Poetry at the Fergus Falls (MN) Center for the Arts, Saturday, October 30 at 7:30 PM.  He will perform on upright bass with David Ferreira on piano and Mark Vinz reading his poetry.  Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door.  Students and children tickets are $5.
