NDSU Visiting Artist Series Welcomes Scott, Smith

NDSU Visual Arts Series is pleased to welcome ceramic artists Sean Scott and Amy Smith, November 2-3.  Scott and Smith will work with students, demonstrate their techniques, and present a public lecture during their visit.  Their complete schedule can be found online at ndsu.edu/finearts/visual_arts/visiting_artist_series/scott_smith.html.

Scott has worked with clay for the last two decades and currently operates Pomme de Terre Pottery in west central Minnesota.  He shows and sells his work nationally and teaches workshops for all skill levels.  Smith received her M.F.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  She works intuitively in porcelain, allowing forms to gently hold space.
