Hoselton to Attend OperaWorks Program

North Dakota State University School of Music student Beth Hoselton has been accepted to the acclaimed OperaWorks summer apprentice program in Los Angeles, CA.
OperaWorks is a highly acclaimed training program that provides one-of-a-kind performance and business skills in addition to world premiere productions in an extraordinary artistic and individual experience. Hoselton will participate in the Advanced Artist Program, which is for experience performers with Young Artist Program credits or in advanced degree programs.
Hoselton is a senior vocal performance major who studies under Dr. Virginia Sublett and will appear in the leading role of Pamina during the NDSU Opera production of The Magic Flute, April 26 and 28. She previously appeared as Adele in the NDSU Opera production of Die Fledermaus in 2011. Hoselton was selected to attend the Opera in the Black Hills Summer Intensive, directed by Metropolitan Opera soprano Johanna Meier, and is a two-time winner of the North Dakota National Association of Teachers’ annual auditions.
