Week 1

Michelle Martin will present an intensive workshop exploring possibilities of monotype printmaking for beginner and advanced printmakers. She will explain how to create dramatically subtle and breathtaking color nuances through transparent ink layers and multiple printings while exploring color theory in a contemporary and creative way. ThPlease make a selection.e medium will be introduced and explored through demonstration and discussions of additive/reductive methods using oil-based ink and modifiers.

Week 2

An exchange portifolio will be created under supervision of PEARS director Kent Kappinger.
