David Swenson Assistant Professor
David Swenson has been a member of the North Dakota State University faculty since 1994. Previously, he taught at St. John's University, the University of Minnesota, and in the After School Art Program of the Minnesota Museum of American Art in St. Paul. He has also served as an artist/mentor with the Five Wings Art Program at the Minnesota Center for Arts Education and as an Artist in Corrections at the Lino Lakes Correctional Facility. In addition to the degree programs listed above, Swenson has also attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and St. John's University, where he studied with Richard Bresnahan. His work at St. John's was twice supported by grants from the Grotto Foundation. Swenson's work has been exhibited at the Northern Clay Center, Moorhead State University, the Alice R. Rogers Gallery at St. John's University, the Cleveland Institute of Art, and at galleries in Moorhead, St. Cloud, Minneapolis, Northfield, Mankato, and Bloomington. |
