Promotion to Professor Task Force and Panels
The Promotion to Professor Task Force (PPTF) was created as part of Advance FORWARD’s mid-career mentoring program and the PROMOTE program, which is funded by an NSF ADVANCE PAID grant. The goal of the task force is to help more associate professors successfully apply for and receive promotion to professor. Faculty across the University have been recommended and invited to participate. The Dean of Human Development and Education facilitates the task force’s work. PPTF has reviewed PTE policies and documents and organized the Promotion to Professor Panel Series.
The Promotion to Professor Panel Series helps inform associate professor faculty about how and when to apply for full professorship.
