  • Berg provides data support for the ADVANCE FORWARD project and is specifically involved in the collection of much of the NSF 12 indicator data. She has been involved with the project since 2012.

Canan Bilen-Green, Vice Provost for the Advancement of Faculty, Professor & Interim Chair of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, and ADVANCE FORWARD PI and Executive Director

  • Bilen-Green has been involved with the FORWARD effort since its inception in 2002 and was instrumental in developing the ADVANCE IT proposal that resulted in the initial 5-year funding for the ADVANCE FORWARD project. She has had an active leadership role since the beginning of the effort to increase and advance women faculty at NDSU.  She also served on the Childcare Center Committee. She recently became the co-coordinator (with Reed) of the cohort mentoring program.

  • Magel is a co-PI on the ADVANCE FORWARD project and has served on the project’s leadership team.She is involved primarily in research relevant to ADVANCE FORWARD project initiatives and provides analyses for the annual NDSU faculty salary study.  She has been involved in the FORWARD effort since its inception

  • Rafert has actively supported the ADVANCE FORWARD project since his arrival at NDSU in the summer of 2011 and has served on the project’s leadership team since that time.  He has been instrumental in the transition to full institutionalization of the FORWARD goals by directing necessary resources to the continuing work of FORWARD.
