Online Surveys

Qualtrics is a gold-standard data collection and analysis software that is approved by the N.D. University System and NDSU’s General Counsel. The addition of Qualtrics software at the Group Decision Center, in partnership with NDSU Information Technology Services, enables NDSU faculty, staff and students to use this survey tool at no cost. Outside agencies can utilize the survey software and conduct virtual meetings for a fee.

Tips for Blackboard

  • Copying the link from email:
Careful select the link without include a space at the end of the link.
If you included a space you will see a “%2″ after the url. The easiest way to fix this is to either recreate the link, being careful to not include a space after it, or fix the current coding by clicking on the little downward arrow to the expand the editor tools, choosing “<>” icon to get into the html, and then deleting the %2 from the end of the url. Then when you submit it, the link should work.
  • Student’s computer locks up before starting the evaluation.
Clear the students attempt by going to the Grade Center, locate the course evaluation column within the gradebook, click on the chevron by the student’s grade cell for Course Evaluation. Choose “grade details” and then Clear Attempt.
The Group Decision Center is unable to clear any responses because all responses are anonymous.
