NDSU RESEARCH STUDY

WHAT IS YOUR “EQ” – ENVIRONMENTAL QUOTIENT?

Dear Fargo/Moorhead resident,

My name is Ruth Lewis, I am a graduate student at North Dakota State University, in the Natural Resources Management Program and Communications Department. I am conducting research to determine the level of knowledge and understanding of environmental issues in the Red River Valley. Results of this study will help resource agencies and organizations determine how the public learns about the environment.

You are invited to participate in this research project. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may decline or withdraw from participation at any time, without penalty. It should take you less than 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire. The questions are mostly True/False, Check all that apply and Yes/No. There are a few questions where you have the opportunity to provide additional information. At the end of the survey there will be a “submit” tab and the survey is completed. This is an entirely anonymous survey, however, there area a few demographic questions asked which are used to adequately define the population who participate in the survey. I request that you be age 18 or over to take this survey.

If you have any questions about this project, please call me at 701-298-3579, or call my advisor, Dr. Mark Meister, 701-231-7635.
