Jeff Ackerman (1988). After NDSU, Jeff got his masters in hydrogeology at the UW-Madison studying groundwater-surface water interactions. Following grad school, Jeff worked as an environmental consultant investigating a variety of polluted geologic settings, and most importantly meeting his billable goal. For the last two years, Jeff has been a case manager in the Agricultural Chemical Cleanup Program of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. This work involves investigation and cleanup of contaminated soil and groundwater at pesticide and fertilizer dealerships, and the control of state reimbursement dollars for those efforts.

Jeff and his lovely wife Linda live near Madison, Wisconsin. Linda is a third grade teacher in the Middleton-Cross Plains school district. They occupy their leisure time with disc golf, cards, backpacking, and the never-ending quest to find the perfect oolite. Jeff and Linda reside at 1996 Skaalen Road, Stoughton, Wisconsin, 53589. J. Scott Askew (1989) is co-owner of Minnesota Construction, Inc. in Richfield, MN. After graduating from NDSU, Scott moved to Minneapolis and worked for Braun Engineering and Environmental Labs in the Electron Microscopy Lab analyzing asbestos and air and ash samples. In 1992, Scott went to Nova Environmental Services for a short stay. In 1993, Scott started a construction company specializing in commercial remodeling. " I finally enjoy what I am doing."
Scott and Keri have three children: Joshua Scott, Jacob J., and Kailey Kathleen. Also part of the family are Hailey (a chocolate lab) and Bear (a cat). Cindy (Maliscke) Jensen (1989) works for Environmental Transport Systems in Fargo. Cindy does project management for hazardous waste transport and disposal. She also does administration and proposal preparation. Her employment address is: 708A 38th St. NW, Fargo, ND 58102. W: (701) 282-6009.

Les Morgenstern (1989) worked as a consulting environmental geologist for Braun Intertec from 1990-96. Currently, Les is the Office Manager and Geologist for Terracon Environmental, Inc. His work address is P.O. Box 2379, Bismarck, ND 58502-2379. W: (701) 250-1255. Fax: (701) 250-1254.

Greg Scherzer (1989) is senior project manager for Northern Environmental, an environmental consulting firm in Brainerd, MN. After graduation, Greg was employed by Gem Star Associates, cleaning up sites contaminated by petroleum, agricultural chemicals, and other hazardous wastes. Since 1998, Greg has been carrying on similar duties for Northern Environmental.
