Tedford-Sharpe Receives Graduate School Community Service Award

The College of Business Administration at North Dakota State University is pleased to announce the selection of Ramona (Mona) Tedford-Sharpe as the recipient of the 2005 Graduate School Community Service Award. The award recognizes an MBA student who has made an outstanding contribution to the community through public service, including activities with charitable, service, youth and/or civic organizations.

Tedford-Sharpe states, "there is probably no greater long-term societal impact we can make than by providing opportunities and role modeling for our young people." She has held a variety of positions with the following organizations:

YWCA of Cass-Clay (current treasurer and board of directors)
United Way of Cass-Clay (Employee Campaign Chair, Key Club Chair, and Loan Executive)
Junior Achievement of St. Cloud (board of directors, instructor)
Land of Lakes Girl Scouts (vice president and board of directors)
Fargo Lions Service Club
MSUM Alumni Association
MSUM Activities Committee
Fargo Chamber of Commerce
MSUM Legal Assistant

In addition to balancing her time between family, career (Wells Fargo), volunteer responsibilities, she is pursuing her MBA at NDSU.
