    Graduate School Search:


    The purpose of the Graduate School Research Awards is to recognize outstanding contributions made to research by graduate students at NDSU. One award of $1000 will be made each year in each college.

    Eligibility

    • The graduate student must be in good academic standing and currently enrolled at NDSU.

    • The student must be involved in independent research (may be supervised).

    • Students may not win the award more than once.

    Selection Committee

    • The selection committee will be determined by the Dean of the Academic College and the Graduate Dean.

    Nomination Deadline

    • Submit nominations to the Academic College to which your department belongs no later than March 7, 2008.

    Nomination Requirements

    • Student will be nominated by their home department. Students enrolled in interdisciplinary programs may be nominated in the college of their primary residence.

    • Each department/program may nominate one individual for the award.

    • The nomination packet will include:

      • A letter from the department which describe the outstanding research contributions made by the student.

      • A description of the research experiences of the nominee. This should include publications, presentation, and other significant research accomplishments of the nominee.

      • A two page (double spaced) statement written by the nominee which describes his or her research interests.
